The Baltimore Ravens made a bold move to add an impact wide receiver on Sunday.
One of the top free agents was Odell Beckham Jr., and he is headed to the Ravens.
Beckham agreed to a one-year deal paying him up to $18 million.
The former All-Pro missed all last season recovering from a torn ACL.
But now he is fully healthy and expected to be ready to participate in offseason workouts.
The man throwing the ball is very important for many wide receivers.
So, it is safe to assume that Lamar Jackson had some role in bringing Beckham to Baltimore.
According to Ian Rapoport, the expectation is that Jackson will be with the Ravens next season.

Jackson has been unable to reach a long-term agreement with the Ravens.
Also, he has requested a trade.
But there seems to be some sense that this move may make Jackson reconsider his trade request.
Jackson and Beckham were celebrating this new contract together.
Something that they would not do if Jackson was serious about playing elsewhere.
It will be interesting to see how the rest of this offseason unfolds for Jackson.
He will either have to sign the franchise tag or sign a new deal with the Ravens.
But, both sides are seemingly not close to a contract.
Beckham could be the star receiver Jackson has been wanting to play with.
Yet, he needs a contract of his own before he will take the field.
