Fans React To Damian Lillard Featuring Celtics Star On Wishlist

The Portland Trail Blazers have become a mess of a franchise.

They have failed to make the playoffs in back-to-back seasons, and have not gotten out of the first round since 2018-19.

Despite having a star point guard in Damian Lillard, this team fails to have postseason success.

Well, Lillard is done waiting around for the Blazers to get their situation figured out.

He wants to win and win now.

Lillard has a wishlist of players he would like to play with.

According to NBA Central, via Jake Fischer, Lillard has an interest in teaming up with Celtics forward Jaylen Brown.

“Jaylen Brown is a player that Damian Lillard has had on his list.”

However, the Blazers will have to make a trade to get anyone to join Lillard.

But, if Lillard wants someone to join him in Portland that may not be realistic.

His best bet might be to force his way out.

But, if the Celtics have an interest in trading Brown, the Blazers must be involved.

Given how often the Celtics try to trade Jaylen Brown, in addition to Brown being a free agent in 2024.

It’s possible the Blazers could trade for him if they throw in enough draft capital.

Many Celtics fans are not happy with the idea of trading Brown and do not think the Blazers have enough to offer.

Each offseason it seems like something comes out about Lillard being unhappy in Portland.

Yet, no changes are made once the season comes around.

It will be interesting to see if they can get a blockbuster trade done this offseason.
