The Minnesota Timberwolves didn’t look good at all in their final regular-season game, and we’re not talking about what they did on the court.
It was their heated exchange on the sidelines that made their chemistry issues all the more evident, with Rudy Gobert nearly getting into a fistfight with Kyle Anderson.
Then, Jaden McDaniels fractured his hand by punching a wall while entering the tunnel.
Needless to say, everybody had an opinion about what went down with them, but maybe no one was as harsh as Draymond Green.
The four-time NBA champion was as blunt as usual, assessing Anderson’s choice of words toward Gobert.
Per Green, Anderson should’ve known what was coming after calling Rudy the b-word, although he says that most people in the league actually agree with Anderson in that regard.
Green then added that Gobert earned a little bit of his respect for standing up for himself, as he didn’t even think he had that in him.

Of course, fans had plenty to say about Green’s words, taking to social media to share their thoughts on that.

Maybe Green isn’t the highest moral authority to talk about that, given the fact that he also punched a teammate.
Or perhaps, that’s precisely why he knows what he’s talking about.
And while he did say that there are certain things you just can’t tolerate, he did acknowledge that punching a teammate was a mistake.
Whatever the case, the Timberwolves will be down two key men in their must-win play-in game, and they only have themselves to blame for that.
