The Las Vegas Raiders‘ roster is slated to look significantly different in 2023.
For starters, the team will no longer be led by Derek Carr for the first time in nearly a decade.
During the offseason thus far, the Raiders have also invested in several new assets, including Jakobi Meyers, Duke Shelley, and Jimmy Garoppolo.
Joining these new players will be a crop of rookies, who will look to make an impact during their first NFL season.
The Raiders have 12 picks in the upcoming draft, including the seventh overall selection.
Ahead of the draft, the Raiders are scheduled to visit with Jalen Carter today, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Carter has gone through significant turmoil over the past several months, including a car crash that he was allegedly involved.
Due to some character concerns, Carter has fallen on many teams’ draft boards, as he was previously the number-one overall prospect.
Will the Raiders use their early-round capital to draft Carter?
With a defensive unit that already consists of Maxx Crosby and Chandler Jones, Carter could be another positive addition to this team.
Last year, the Raiders finished with a 6-11 record, the third-best in their division.
If their offseason additions are any indication, it appears that the Raiders are well on their way to competing within the AFC West.
With the Kansas City Chiefs fresh off a Super Bowl victory, and the Los Angeles Chargers coming off a playoff berth, they will also be hungry to compete.
How will the Raiders stack up in this increasingly difficult division?
