The wait is finally over, and we already know the two final NBA play-in matchups that’ll determine who gets the eighth and final seed in both the Eastern and Western Conferences.

The Chicago Bulls shocked the world by overcoming a 19-point deficit on the road behind Zach LaVine’s outstanding performance, and they’ll now go against the Miami Heat after their loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

On the other side of the bracket, the Minnesota Timberwolves will get another chance to make the playoffs after blowing a 15-point lead to the Los Angeles Lakers.

However, the Oklahoma City Thunder won’t make things easy, as they proved by knocking down the New Orleans Pelicans.

The final #ATTPlayIn matchups are set. Winners take the #8 seeds

@NBA, if u want teams/fans to care about the in season tournament next year… Winner gets the option to move up/down their playoff spot! If ur a 4th seed, but u won the in season tournament, u can choose to stay, move up or down a seed for match-ups u prefer. Simple as that. 1/2

Unfortunately for the two teams that come out on top of their games, the playoff road won’t get any easier ahead of them.

The Heat or Bulls will have to travel to Wisconsin to face the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks, with Giannis Antetokounmpo and company well-rested after the end of the regular season.

As for the winner of the Western Conference play-in game, they’ll have to take their talents to the heights of Colorado for a date with Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.

For the first time in years, it seems like both conferences could be up for grabs, and the tables are set for multiple upsets.

So, will any of these teams be able to go the distance?

We’ll have to wait and see.
