The Oklahoma City Thunder played hard on Wednesday night and they secured one of their biggest wins of the season.
By taking down the New Orleans Pelicans, the Thunder earned a chance to fight for the eighth seed on Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The game was watched by millions of fans and so many were impressed by the hard work of team leader Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg was watching the game on ESPN and broadcasting his thoughts on SGA.

The response to this statement had people online talking.
Some people thought it was a huge compliment and others found it laughable.

Other people felt that Snoop was accurate when comparing the young Thunder All-Star to himself.
While Snoop isn’t known for playing basketball, he is known for his confidence and swagger, both of which Gilgeous-Alexander definitely has.

There were plenty of people who felt that Snoop was accurate with the comparison.

Snoop isn’t the only person impressed by what Gilgeous-Alexander is doing in Oklahoma City.
The 24-year-old guard is scoring 31.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists a game this season, shooting a strong 51% from the field.
If his team is able to overcome the Timberwolves on Friday then the Thunder will storm into the playoffs.
That would bring him a lot more attention and many more fans.
Gilgeous-Alexander might be on the verge of becoming a household name.
