It appears that the Washington Commanders are finally going to be sold.

Owner Dan Snyder announced a while back that he is looking to sell the team and a buyer is finally in place.

Snyder was looking for $6 billion to buy his franchise and Josh Harris is the one who matched that price.

According to Ian Rapoport, Harris has won the bidding war for the Commanders for $6.05 billion.

It has been a long time coming but the deal should be finalized soon.

Many NFL fans were looking to get Snyder out, as he is facing a few different legal charges.

It appears as if the 2023 Washington Commanders will be led by new owners for the first time since 1999.

Harris has plenty of experience owning professional teams as he also owns the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia 76ers.

But, he will have his hands full when it comes to the Commanders.

They have some of the worst facilities in the NFL, and they need a new stadium.

FedEx Field opened in 1997 and has since deteriorated.

Some issues include transportation to the stadium, sewage problems, and even fans falling through railings onto the field.

Also, Harris might want to bring in a new general manager and head coach to try and start fresh in Washington.

There are plenty of holes that need to be filled with this team.

But, it appears as if a new owner is in place, and the Commanders can start being a respectable franchise again.
