The NBA playoffs will get underway for the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, with Devin Booker and company set to do battle with the division rival Los Angeles Clippers in the first round.
After the blockbuster trade for superstar forward Kevin Durant ahead of the NBA trade deadline in Phoenix, the Suns were thrust into the title contender conversation in the NBA, with the consensus being that this team could be the team to beat in the Western Conference.
Despite an injury setback early on after being traded to Phoenix, Durant hasn’t missed a beat on his new team, which bodes well for the Suns heading into the first round.
Emmanuel Acho of Fox Sports believes that Booker, not Durant or Chris Paul, is the player on the Suns squad that desperately needs to win an NBA title.

With two NBA titles to his credit as a result of his time with the Golden State Warriors, Durant is already considered one of the greatest forwards of all time and will likely be a first-ballot Hall of Famer when it is all said and done.
Paul is widely considered to be one of the greatest point guards in league history, and even though he doesn’t have a title yet, it could be argued that his legacy is secure.
However, Booker, as Acho pointed out, has yet to win anything in his NBA career and may be one of the three stars needing a title to take his legacy to the next level.
