The Golden State Warriors have never been put to the test like this season.
Everybody’s going at the reigning NBA champions, as they’ve never looked so vulnerable and mortal.
The Dubs had the third-worst road record in the Western Conference this season, so the prospect of them winning multiple playoff series without home-court advantage seems complicated.
That’s why Stephen A. Smith believes Stephen Curry will be at his best in the postseason, choosing him as the likeliest “Kobe-like” player in the playoffs.
Stephen A. has repeatedly shown his support for the champions, stating that people keep disrespecting them and sleeping on them despite them constantly proving the doubters wrong.
So, now that the Warriors have both Andrew Wiggins and Gary Payton II back on the floor when it matters the most, Smith believes their best player will once again rise to the occasion.

We’ve been hearing about the end of the dynasty for years now.
People even said they would never go back to the NBA Finals after missing the playoffs two years in a row, and they responded by taking the Larry O’Brien home at the Boston Celtics’ TD Garden.
The Warriors have been too good for way too long, and we all know all things eventually come to an end, and this run won’t be the exception.
But on the same note, they’ve also been at this stage way too many times, and it’s not like they’ve never won a playoff game on the road during the dynasty years.
