Chris Paul of the Phoenix Suns is a 12-time All-Star, five-time assist champion, six-time steal champion, and a member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.
He is not, however, an NBA champion.
At 37 years old, the guard is getting closer to the end of his career.
Because of this, many people are wondering if he will ever slide a championship ring onto his finger.
Paul and his Suns are on the verge of the playoffs and the star player is locked in and ready to fight hard to win the Finals.
“No one wants it more than I do,” he recently said, according to NBA writer Mark Medina.

Paul has made the playoffs many times now, for the New Orleans Hornets at the start of his career and then later with the Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, and Oklahoma City Thunder.
But none of those teams had the postseason promise of his current Suns squad.
The Suns were in the Finals just two seasons ago, falling short to the Milwaukee Bucks.
They were shocked last season when the Dallas Mavericks took them out in the Western Conference semifinals.
The Suns were adamant about not making the same mistakes again and pushing through the postseason.
Then things changed in a big way when they landed Kevin Durant.
The addition of Durant immediately made them Finals contenders.
Since he joined the team, the Suns have become one of the more fearsome squads in the West.
Nearly everyone agrees that the team has never had such a good chance of reaching and winning the Finals.
Paul makes no secret about his desire to win it all.
Thanks to his team’s dedication and the acquisition of Durant, that might be possible.
