Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks is one of the most debated and controversial guards in the league.
But no one can deny his skill and his expertise.
For the season, Young has averaged 26.2 points, 3 rebounds, and 10.2 assists.
He has also passed a very big, important NBA milestone.
As noted by StatMuse, Young is the only player with 2,000+ assists over the last three seasons.
Young’s ability to find his teammates anywhere on the court and set them up for success is one of his finest features.
But how much longer does he have with the Hawks?

Young has been the face of this team since joining as the fifth overall draft pick back in 2018.
However, there has been increasing speculation lately about Young possibly departing from the team.
Rumors of behind-the-scenes strife and conflict have been growing and numerous people can imagine Young leaving Atlanta and trying his luck with another team.
But that might not be the case, especially if the Hawks have some success in the upcoming playoffs.
That will be easier said than done.
After winning their play-in game on Tuesday, the Hawks are now set to face off against the Boston Celtics in the opening round of the postseason.
The Celtics are no joke and they will challenge the Hawks in every conceivable way.
If Atlanta is able to take them down, it’ll be a major upset and will relieve fans worried about losing Young and his assists.
But if Atlanta is defeated by the Celtics, the talk of Young flying away from his Hawks will grow.
