The Miami Heat can always count on Jimmy Butler to deliver in the playoffs.
He’s made it clear over and over that he doesn’t care about the NBA’s regular season, stating that he’s all about those seven-game series where everything’s at stake.
That might not always be the wisest way of approaching the competition, as playoff seeding can be vital for any team’s championship aspirations.
Nonetheless, Butler is always at his finest at this time of the year, so it’s hard to blame him for feeling that way.
Notably, the former Chicago Bulls star recently joined an elite company in NBA history.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, Butler is now just the fourth player to record at least 35 points, ten rebounds, and three steals in multiple playoff games, joining the likes of Michael Jordan, Russell Westbrook, and LeBron James.

Well, two out of those three won multiple NBA championships, so Butler still has some work to do to fully catch up to them, but this is most definitely a nice start.
The Heat stole Game 1 vs. the Milwaukee Bucks and are now in control of their destiny, as they stole homecourt advantage.
Nonetheless, the Bucks were without Giannis Antetokounmpo for most of the game due to a lower-back contusion, and the Heat will be without Tyler Herro for a while after he suffered a broken hand.
So, Jimmy Buckets will have to carry even more of the offensive load of this team going forward, but he’s made it clear that this is what he lives for.
