The Los Angeles Chargers are a team considered to be one of the most talented in the NFL on both sides of the football, with a Super Bowl title potentially being a real possibility in the near future.
With the Chargers being in arguably a championship window, especially with talented young quarterback Justin Herbert under center, the team must make all the right moves to remain in contention.
At this point, the team is focused on the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft, much like the 31 other teams in the league, with everyone trying to finalize their draft boards for April 27.
One of the areas of need for the Chargers moving forward is the wide receiver position, which the team addressed this week by re-signing Jalen Guyton, according to the NFL’s Twitter account.

All four of Guyton’s seasons in the NFL have been with the Chargers, with the wide receiver getting picked up by the team after being waived by the Dallas Cowboys in August of 2019.
Guyton only spent a few months with the Cowboys in the offseason after being signed by the team as an undrafted free agent in April of 2019.
The University of North Texas product has since played 38 games for the Chargers, racking up 1,023 yards and six touchdowns.
Guyton isn’t a game-changing signing for the Chargers, but the team could make some bold moves in the draft to address wide receiver and or the running back position if Austin Ekeler is intent on leaving the team to get paid what he desires.
