The NBA playoffs are everything that matters.
That’s the biggest stage there is and where players go from good to great.
So, it’s only normal to overreact to almost every major play that happens in the postseason, regardless of the scoreboard.
That’s why Joel Embiid will never be able to get over the one time that Cam Johnson put him on a poster.
The Brooklyn Nets forward — who’s known more for being a shooter than a dunker — caught Embiid’s body at the rim, and one may say he could’ve even got called for an and-one.

Of course, with Embiid being such a polarizing player, multiple fans took to Twitter to mock him or allude to his MVP case.
CAMERON “CAM” JOHNSON JUST OBLITERATED/BAMBOOZLED/TORCHERED/POSTERIZED JOEL EMBIID!!!!!!!! SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN AND-1 AS WELL!

Then again, unfortunately, that huge dunk — perhaps the best of his career — didn’t do a lot to help the Nets’ case.
The Philadelphia 76ers are now up 2-0 in the series, and you have to love their chances of sweeping Brooklyn on the road.
The Nets made the playoffs mostly thanks to Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, as most of their roster arrived at the NBA’s trade deadline and is still a work in progress.
Landing Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson could be huge for the future of the organization as they look to rebuild and retool, but it might take a while before they’re ready to make a splash in the postseason.
As for the Sixers, the clock is ticking and the championship window might close soon, so they cannot rest on their laurels and allow this series to go on any further.
