The event will be held at U.S. Bank Stadium, where the Vikings play their home games.
Grant coached in Minnesota for 18 seasons, where he held a record of 158-96-5.
Currently, Grant is 19th all-time in wins with 158.
He led the Vikings to four conference championships, although he was never able to win a Super Bowl.
Grant was a member of the 1994 Pro Football Hall of Fame class.
His contributions to the NFL are still being felt today, especially by the Vikings organization.
The last time the Vikings appeared in the Super Bowl was in 1977, when Grant was still the coach.
At some point, they need their drought to end.
Vikings fans are hoping that head coach Kevin O’Connell can have a tenure as long as Grant.
In his first season in Minnesota, he led them to the NFC North title.
But, their first-round home playoff loss still stings.
The best way for the Vikings to honor Grant on the field is by achieving the one goal that eluded him.
That is winning the Super Bowl.
