Norman Powell and Russell Westbrook tried as hard as they could on Thursday night but the Los Angeles Clippers were still defeated by the Phoenix Suns at home in Game 3.
The final score of 129-124 showed that it was a tight and competitive game.
It could have ended very differently for the Clippers if they had Kawhi Leonard.
Sadly, he was out of the game due to a knee injury.
The absence of Leonard at such a pivotal time has caused Stephen A. Smith to make a grand and hard declaration about him.
“Kawhi Leonard should be on the list of one of the worst superstars this game has ever seen,” Smith said on First Take.

“When you talk about a superstar that is unreliable, I want somebody to point me out somebody more flagrant than him,” Smith continued.
Smith said that Leonard’s “unreliability” is hurting the team.
It’s showing that he’s not worth all the strife and hard work the Clippers put into signing him several years ago.
He has yet to play 30 postseason games for the Clippers even though he’s been with the team since the 2019-20 season.
Numerous injuries have led him to miss multiple games.
All season long, the Clippers managed Leonard’s time carefully.
They were making sure he’d be ready to go when the playoffs began.
Yet, now he is hurt again and it may have cost his team a very crucial game.
Leonard is still one of the most sensational basketball players alive and his skill is evident when he’s fully healthy.
But his unreliability is truly impairing his team.
A growing number of voices are asking if he will be parting ways with the team soon if this season also ends in disappointment.
If the Clippers don’t make the second round, Smith won’t be the only one criticizing Leonard’s time in LA.
