The first-round playoff series between the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies has been must-see TV for NBA fans, with some exciting basketball being played on the floor and drama unfolding off of it.
After the Grizzlies beat the Lakers in Game 2 of this series, Memphis forward Dillon Brooks had a message for superstar LeBron James, which enraged Lakers fans and made things that much more interesting as the series shifted to Los Angeles for Game 3 and Game 4.
In Game 3, Brooks took his antics to another level while being mocked by the fans at Crpyto.com Arena, as he struck James below the belt and was thrown out of the game as a result.
Brooks’ budding rivalry with James has been all anyone can talk about in this series, with the Grizzlies star becoming the villain that Lakers fans have come to love rooting against, and Dan Patrick believes he needs to embrace that role, or things will only get worse from here on out.
DP’s advice to Dillion Brooks:
“You asked for it. Embrace being the villain, don’t run away from it. If you truly are that guy and want to be that guy then go wire to wire with it. If not go back to 18 and 7 because then no one is going to notice you” #Lakers #Grizzlies pic.twitter.com/DxJ9VQZuX2

On Monday night, the Lakers will host the Grizzlies for Game 4 of this first-round playoff series, with a lot on the line for the second-seeded Memphis squad led by superstar guard Ja Morant.
The Grizzlies are facing a potential 1-3 series deficit if they can’t come out on top tonight in Los Angeles before the series shifts back to Memphis for Game 5.
Brooks will once again be the favorite target of Lakers fans, who will try to get him off his game early and often at Crypto.com Arena.
