It may have taken much longer than anticipated, but the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets were finally able to come to an agreement on the blockbuster trade involving superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
With Rodgers now officially headed to New York, the buzz around the NFL has already begun regarding whether the Jets are a legitimate Super Bowl title contender as a result of the addition of the four-time NFL MVP.
There’s a lot of time between now and the start of the 2023 NFL season for the Jets in which anything can happen, but as of right now, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv believes Rodgers being in New York makes the team a title contender.

It’s hard to argue with the statement that the Jets are the real deal heading into the 2023 campaign, as Rodgers is the type of superstar quarterback that can alter a franchise’s immediate future.
The real question moving forward for the Jets is whether the team already has the right pieces of the puzzle to make New York a force to be reckoned with next season.
Rodgers will have some talented players at his disposal next season in the form of running back Breece Hall and wide receivers Garrett Wilson, Mecole Hardman, Corey Davis, Allen Lazard and Tyler Conklin.
The Jets could look to bolster their roster in this week’s NFL Draft, through other trades or by signing more free agents.
So far, the Jets appear talented enough to compete with the best of the best in the AFC, but it remains to be seen whether it’ll be enough to be a legit title contender.
