LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has been playing in the NBA for 20 years now and has had so many explosive, historic moments during his career.

Still, some people believe that his showing on Monday night might be one of the biggest games of his career.

At 38 years old, James scored 22 points and an amazing 20 rebounds and he led his team to a massive win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Shannon Sharpe praised James on Tuesday morning, giving him a very good grade in the 117-111 triumph.

“I’m going to give him a solid A. He didn’t have the greatest shooting night, but he did so many other things really well,” Sharpe said.

What grade does LeBron deserve for his performance?

The other things that Sharpe was referring to must have been the 20 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 blocks.

Monday’s game was a masterclass of skill for James, who could be returning to the second round of the playoffs if he and his Lakers take out the Grizzlies later this week.

James is now the oldest NBA player with a 20-point, 20-rebound game, surpassing Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs.

The fact that he is doing so much at this age has reignited the debate about him being the best NBA star of all time.

In a long, somewhat rambling conversation about that topic, Sharpe said that when James plays his last game it’ll bring the league its biggest ratings ever.

He claimed he could drop the microphone after his final game by saying “GOAT out.”

People like Sharpe and Skip Bayless will argue about who the best basketball player of all time is forever and there will never be a definitive answer.

But it’s obvious that even though he’s nearly 40 years old, James was the best player for the Lakers on Monday night.
