For years, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young has had to deal with criticism and doubts.
From his days in high school to when he dominated with the Oklahoma Sooners, rival hecklers often called him overrated.
That’s why there’s not much rival fans can do to get him out of the zone nowadays, as he’s been more than used to those chants throughout the course of his career.

Some doubted Young could find success in college, and he had one of the most spectacular NCAA basketball seasons since Stephen Curry at Davidson.
Then, he entered the league with high doubts and questions due to his lack of defensive expertise or will, and he’s responded by being one of the leading scorers and passers since making his professional debut.
Young led the Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals the very first time he made the playoffs, taking Madison Square Garden by storm and sending New York Knicks fans home despite all the mockery, boos, jeers, insults, and whatnot.
He did the same again on Tuesday night when he knocked down a 30-footer at the TD Garden to force Game 6 and keep the Hawks alive for at least an extra couple of days.
Young isn’t a flawless player by any means, and there have been some questions about his leadership over the past couple of seasons.
But he’ll never shy away from the moment or be afraid to take any shot or make any play, it doesn’t matter who he’s facing or where he’s playing.
