The season is now officially over for the Los Angeles Clippers, which means the front office and many of the players are thinking about what will come next.
We don’t know what the future holds for the team, especially with the devastating injury of Kawhi Leonard throwing everything into disarray.
But Mason Plumlee wants to stick around.
Speaking to NBA writer Tomer Azarly, Plumlee said that he loves being with the Clippers and hopes to be back in the playoff hunt next year.
When Azarly asked Plumlee if his priority was on a rewarding contract or a title chance, Plumlee said: “Both. I’m an ‘and’ guy, not an ‘either/or’ guy.”

Plumlee came to the Clippers just a few months ago after a year-and-a-half with the Charlotte Hornets.
During his 23 games with LA, Plumlee averaged 7.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.
He became a pretty important part of the team’s bench and put in 19.9 minutes per game.
He gave it his all on Tuesday night, scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds during the team’s final game of the season.
Over the next few weeks and months, the Clippers’ front office will need to think about just everything related to the team.
From the coaching staff to the roster, changes could be far-reaching as the team toys with the idea of losing Leonard and rebuilding from the ground up.
It’s clear that Plumlee wants to remain with the Clippers but he doesn’t have the final say.
During his time in the NBA, Plumlee has played for the Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trail Blazers, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, and Hornets.
