Just about everyone agrees that the best two quarterbacks in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft are Bryce Young from the University of Alabama and C.J. Stroud of the Ohio State University.
But the Florida’s Anthony Richardson is considered to be a prospect who has plenty of potential.
He has the ability to run the football himself, as evidenced by his 654 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns in 2022.
Richardson may not have the potential as a passer that Young and Stroud have, but he did show off his arm strength by throwing a long pass with both feet planted, as seen below.

Richardson threw for 2,549 yards and 17 touchdowns while completing 53.8 percent of his passes last season, which look like anemic passing stats.
But some think he has a lot of upside, and one analyst even said recently that he could end up as a better passer than Lamar Jackson and a better rusher than Josh Allen.
At 6-foot-4 and 232 pounds, Richardson is a pretty good physical specimen, and he reportedly impressed scouts during the interview process at the NFL Combine.
It should be noted that Jackson completed just 57.0 percent of his passes in college, while Allen was at 56.2 percent in three seasons at the University of Wyoming.
The Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans will have the first two picks in Thursday’s draft, but it is possible the Texans will not end up taking a QB.
That could give the Indianapolis Colts, who have the No. 4 pick, the opportunity to take Stroud, which means a team with a lower pick could end up choosing Richardson.
