Rarely does the sports world interact with the animal kingdom.
But when those two worlds collide, it always makes for an interesting story.
In the San Francisco area resides a rather famous bunny named Alex, also known as “Alex The Great.”
Alex was brought to a San Francisco Giants game back in 2021 and became an internet sensation.
The famous bunny returned to Oracle Park on Wednesday night as the Giants took on the St. Louis Cardinals.
Alex appeared wearing a unique baseball cap as he sat in the arms of his owner.
On Twitter, MLB Cut4 posted a photo of the famous bunny during the game between the Giants and Cardinals.

Perhaps Alex was a good luck charm for the Giants on Wednesday.
San Francisco rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to win by a final of 7-3.
But more importantly, it was a nice moment when the sports world collided with the animal kingdom.
We often see fans of teams dress their pets in that team’s gear.
Other times, animals have made their way onto the field.
The Cardinals have experienced that themselves, having been sparked by the “Rally Squirrel” back in 2011.
A cat also made its way onto the field at Yankee Stadium back in 2021.
And on Wednesday, Alex became the center of attention at the game between the Giants and Cardinals, simply attending the game as a fan of the Giants.
And the Giants pulled off a big win over the Cardinals with the famous bunny in attendance at Oracle Park.
