The New England Patriots have been notorious for moving around in the NFL Draft.
Most years they trade back, especially in round one.
That is exactly what they did again this year.
The Patriots moved back three spots in the first round and gave the No. 14 pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
New England was still able to select cornerback Christian Gonzalez with the No. 17 pick.
Heading into day two, the Patriots have one pick in the second and third rounds.
But, they have four picks in the fourth round.
You can bet the Patriots are looking to trade a few of those fourths to move up on day two.
According to Mike Giardi, the Patriots have been making calls to move up.
Per league sources, the #Patriots have made calls about moving up in round 2. With the amount of draft capital they have, especially in round 4, they have the potential to make a decent leap in both rounds 2 and 3.

New England has plenty of holes on their roster, but it is anyone’s guess who they are targeting.
It would make sense that they look to add another offensive playmaker.
Last season their offense was stale, and they need to add talent around quarterback Mac Jones.
New England has their work cut out for them next season.
Playing in the AFC East will be no easy task, especially after Aaron Rodgers joined the division.
The odds seem pretty good that the Patriots will not be a playoff team in 2023.
So they should use this year to evaluate if Jones is their quarterback of the future or not.
This could be a make-or-break year for the former first-round pick.
The least the Patriots could do is give him some good playmakers to throw to.
