Most people expected Will Levis to be gone by the midpoint of the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Some analysts projected him to go as high as No. 2 overall, while most people agreed that he was a likely pick at No. 4 by the Indianapolis Colts.
Not only did Levis not go in the top 10, but he also slipped all he way through the first round, which was kind of shocking.
Per former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky, something had to happen to drive teams away.

Orlovsky believes there has to be something going on, maybe from the end of the season and toward the start of the NFL Draft season.
Otherwise, it would make no sense to see him fall that far.
Orlovsky adds that Levis has all the physical traits any team would want from a player at the quarterback position, but he knows that it takes more than just athleticism and physicality to be successful at the next level.
The biggest knock on Levis was his lack of production in college, but the tape showed the athleticism and physical tools you’d want from a QB.
Also, it’s not like he was put in a position to succeed playing behind one of the worst offensive lines and less talented WR corps in the nation.
Levis will likely be gone early in the second round, and hopefully this will only put a huge chip on his shoulders to go out there and prove 31 franchises wrong for not taking a chance on him.
