The Houston Rockets are starting a new era with Ime Udoka as their head coach.

This could mean big changes are coming to the young team.

One of them might include a shocking trade involving one of the best players on the team.

Jalen Green could be included in a trade package this summer, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.

The Rockets could reportedly be looking to add an established star to start this new era.

“The Rockets, sources said, also addressed the idea of including second-year guard Jalen Green, the No. 2 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, as part of a package for acquiring established star talent.”

James Harden has been linked with a move back to Houston for a while now.

Depending on how his season with the Philadelphia 76ers finishes, Harden could return to the team where he spent much of his career.

Moreover, Fischer adds that other players like Jaylen Brown and Khris Middleton have been on the Rockets’ radar.

A reunion with Udoka would be great for Brown, who has proven his worth with the Boston Celtics.

As for Middleton, recent reports suggest that the Bucks could be looking to move on from him following their first-round exit.

The Rockets could go from being a below-average team to a contender in just an offseason.

They also could land Victor Wembanyama in the 2023 NBA Draft and pair him up with some solid stars.
