The Pittsburgh Steelers 2023 NFL Draft has been highly regarded by many experts and analysts across the league.
While the Steelers had several notable selections throughout the draft, perhaps the most stunning was Broderick Jones at No. 14.
After GM Omar Khan’s trade-up to No. 14, Mike Tomlin started referring to him as “The Khan Artist,” which is highlighted in Michael Baca’s article.

When discussing the draft as a whole, Khan said “I really feel like we’re a better football team today than we were at 7:59 PM Thursday.”
Along with Jones, the Steelers also added Joey Porter Jr, one of the most highly-touted cornerbacks in this draft class.
As Baca indicates in this article, “Khan has seemingly set the Steelers up for success in Year 2 of the Kenny Pickett era.”
Pickett was the lone quarterback selected in the first round of the 2022 draft.
Khan, Tomlin, and the rest of the Steelers’ staff have done everything possible to make Pickett successful moving forward.
Pickett is seen as the franchise quarterback for 2023 and beyond, replacing Ben Roethlisberger and the legacy he left behind.
The Steelers will have their work cut out for them this season, given the increasing difficulty of the AFC North.
Lamar Jackson has rejoined the Baltimore Ravens, and the Cincinnati Bengals have only added to their roster.
Not to mention, the Cleveland Browns will have their first full season with Deshaun Watson at the helm.
