With the Golden State Warriors officially moving on and keeping their title defense alive due to getting the best of the Sacramento Kings in Game 7, veteran forward Draymond Green had some strong words for Domantas Sabonis.

Green was suspended during the seven-game series against the Kings for stomping on Sabonis’ chest, which could’ve cost his team the series.

Fortunately for Golden State, the Warriors were able to power through without Green for one game and now will face the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round.

Although it seemed like Green put this situation behind him with the team advancing, the four-time NBA champion took to his podcast to blast the Kings star for not shaking his hand after Game 7 via TheVolumeSports.

“Lost a lot of respect for Sabonis. You don’t shake guys hands after you lose? I don’t respect that… You lost, deal with it. Pay your respect.”

Ironically enough, LeBron James recently did the same thing to the Memphis Grizzlies after beating them in six games.

James had a very public feud with Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks, who openly said he didn’t respect any star that hadn’t dropped 40 points on him.

As for Green, it’s hard not to at least somewhat sympathize with Sabonis, as it would be hard for anyone to want to shake hands with someone that stomped on your chest.

However, Sabonis wasn’t completely innocent in the incident, as he was clearly holding onto Green’s leg to provoke a response, which worked out perfectly for the Kings.

This likely won’t be the last time Green has some beef with an opposing player, nor will it be the last time he openly mocks or blasts some player on his podcast for their actions.
