Few teams have gotten more attention during this NFL offseason than the new-look New York Jets.
Although the Jets lost their last six games of the 2022 campaign, the storied franchise is still considered to be heading in the right direction, with a promising squad on both sides of the football and head coach Robert Saleh leading the way.
The biggest news coming out of the Big Apple about the Jets this offseason has been the acquisition of superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The blockbuster trade between the Green Bay Packers and the Jets took longer than expected to come to fruition, but the deal got done, and now the team is starting to get some real buzz as a contender for the 2023 NFL season.
As a result of the move to bring in Rodgers, David Helman of Fox Sports believes the Jets have officially won the NFL offseason via Speak On FS1.

It’s hard to argue with Helman’s stance because it isn’t easy to get the quarterback position right in the NFL these days, and this team jumped at the opportunity to bring in a four-time NFL MVP and one-time Super Bowl champion.
Things have to come together the right way in New York, and things can quickly get out of control, especially in the biggest market in professional sports, where off-the-field distractions can derail a team.
It’ll be interesting to see how much football Rodgers has left in him and if this team can live up to the expectations of a legitimate Super Bowl title contender.
