Well, it didn’t take long, but — as expected — former NFL star Antonio Brown is now involved in yet another controversy, this time with his own National Arena League.
Brown is facing some disturbing accusations of some activity surrounding his Arena football team.
According to TMZ via Dov Kleiman, he’s made violent threats towards former coach Tom Menas, as well as locking players out of their hotel rooms.
“Once players got to their team hotel, Ware, the captains, and several other players discovered their room keys no longer worked — and hotel staffers told them it was Brown’s doing.”

Damon Ware and Sam Castronova — former HC and QB, respectively — talked to TMZ to explain in detail what’s been going on because of Brown.
Per Ware, Brown completed a ‘hostile takeover’ of the team by forcing other owners out to get 95% of the team, and constantly threatening to get physical with those who dared cross him.
Apparently, the players haven’t gotten paid after the past couple of games, which is why they even considered sitting out.
They still decided to play after being told they were getting paid, which obviously never happened.
Some of the players stood up to team officials on the bus ride back home, just to find that they had been locked out of their very own hotel rooms once they headed back home.
Unsurprisingly, hotel staffers confirmed that Brown himself was behind that.
The players struggled to get their belongings out of their rooms, and even though they’re reportedly set to get paid what they’re due, they no longer have any intention of playing for Brown’s organization — as they should.
Brown is one of the most talented wideouts in league history, but his erratic behavior pretty much ended his career, and it seems like the same could happen to him as a business owner.
