After acquiring star quarterback Matthew Stafford in a trade with the Detroit Lions, the Los Angeles Rams were able to put everything together and go on to win the Super Bowl under head coach Sean McVay.

Unfortunately, the following season didn’t turn out as well, with the Rams failing to live up to expectations due to injuries ripping through the team and poor play on both sides of the football.

One of the most significant issues for the Rams during the 2022 campaign was Stafford battling injuries, which again shed light on the quarterback position and what the team should do to secure the position.

Unfortunately, the team saw veteran quarterback Baker Mayfield sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which left a void behind Stafford.

According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Rams have brought in Brett Rypien to add to the quarterback room in Los Angeles.

During this NFL offseason, the Rams made a few major moves that could significantly impact the team next season and for many years to come.

The biggest move was likely trading cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Miami Dolphins, but the team also decided not to re-sign Bobby Wagner, and recently traded veteran wide receiver Allen Robinson to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It remains to be seen where the Rams franchise is headed at this point in time, as some would argue it seems like a rebuilding process has begun.

However, McVay and company may have one more season of competitive football before that’s the direction the team heads into.
