The New York Yankees have not been off to their best start in recent memory, but a comeback win on Wednesday to secure a series victory over the Cleveland Guardians might be a good place for them to start.
The heroics on Wednesday were provided by catcher Jose Trevino in the bottom half of the 10th inning.
Trevino did not start the game, but was used as a pinch-hitter for Kyle Higashioka.
He was the last available position player on the bench.
The veteran catcher came through in the clutch against Guardians reliever Trevor Stephan.
After the game, Trevino was interviewed and briefly turned around and threw his hands in the air to hype up the crowd.

Trevino was asked about Wednesday’s game and the wet conditions that it endured, as well as the fans who stayed the whole game to watch the Yankees complete their comeback.
The veteran catcher and former All-Star pointed to the fans behind him and said that they were “the true Yankee fans”, praising them for sticking around for the entire game and never quitting on their team.
The 30-year-old then turned around and threw his arms in the air to get the crowd excited.
The fans behind him all cheered in unison.
Finally, Yankees field reporter Jack Curry told Trevino that he could potentially make it to the WWE with his antics after the game.
The catcher then replied by saying that he was a huge WWE fan.
New York improved to 17-15 on the year after rallying from a late deficit.
