It’s not surprising to hear that two players from the Boston Celtics are doing very well in the NBA playoffs.
But it is a bit surprising when both of them are doing very well in one incredibly specific way.
According to StatMuse, Grant Williams and Jaylen Brown are leading the league in three-point percentage during the postseason.
Williams is sinking 64.2% of his threes while Brown is landing 53.4% of his.

This is a massive step up for both players.
For the 2022-23 season, Williams had a 39.5% three-point percentage while Brown was at 33.5%.
They have reached a whole other level for the postseason and that is a major help to their team.
The Celtics are hoping to be a threat from all over the court.
They want to be able to defend in the paint and the perimeter but also score from the low post and beyond.
The three-point output from Williams and Brown will help them achieve that.
Both players are doing quite well in the postseason and Brown is scoring the most points of his playoff career.
The Celtics will want both stars to keep it up in the days ahead.
They are currently tied in the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Philadelphia 76ers.
They are eager to push beyond this round, especially since the Milwaukee Bucks have been eliminated.
Their path to the Finals is now easier and they want to take advantage of that.
Williams and Brown lighting up from beyond the three-point line could greatly help them on their path to another Finals appearance.
