The Washington Commanders have not made many moves so far this offseason.
Other than adding new offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, their offense remains mostly the same.
They may look different at quarterback in 2023 after adding Jacoby Brissett.
It looks like Sam Howell will be the starter, but Brissett could push him for that spot.
Either way, the Commanders will need a strong offensive line to protect whoever is at quarterback.
Yet, they decided to part ways with one of their offensive lineman.
According to Nicki Jhabvala, the Commanders are releasing center Chase Roullier.

Roullier only played two games for the Commanders last season and eight in 2021.
Injuries became a major part of his career and a reason why this decision was made.
He was no longer needed as a starter, and he would have been competing for a backup role this year.
So the Commanders decided to move on.
Washington is not expected to be very good next season.
Playing in the NFC East, they are once again expected to finish last.
Last season, all three of their division rivals made the playoffs.
Washington will continue to struggle in they do not find a franchise quarterback.
They think Howell might be the answer, but that is a lot to ask for a fifth-round pick.
It seems likely the Commanders will throw Howell out as their starter.
If he turns out to not be a franchise quarterback, then the Commanders will most likely be in a position to draft one next year.
