The New York Jets brought in plenty of new faces ahead of the 2023 season.
Notably, it seems like they’re now a bit of a Green Bay Packers subsidiary.
Aaron Rodgers made sure to bring some of his buddies with him to the Big Apple: Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard, and it didn’t take long before they made their first public appearance as members of their new team.
I’m told the new #Jets’ trio of Aaron Rodgers, Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb will all be together at the #KentuckyDerby. You love to see it!

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the trio of former Packers is expected to be in attendance at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, hyping up Jets fans more than they already are.
It’s normal to see a veteran try and get some of his familiar faces around him, and the Jets gladly complied with Rodgers’ request.
Lazard has developed a strong rapport both on and off the field with Rodgers, and he’s been historically close to Cobb as well.
The Jets want to make sure Rodgers has everything he needs at his disposal, as they know he’ll give them the biggest shot at winning a Super Bowl as any other player in franchise history.
Robert Saleh put together one of the best defenses in the league, and the Jets have a plethora of young talent that could dominate for years to come, even long after Rodgers walks away.
But they need to make the most of this window while it’s still open, so don’t be shocked if they add even more former Packers via trade at some point in Rodgers’ tenure in Gotham.
