MLB has been looking for ways to grow the game.
Many refer to baseball as America’s pastime, and even today the fans still love the game.
The players have never been bigger, faster, and stronger, leading to more competitive games and exciting moments.
There will always be some people that think baseball is dying, but that is not the case.
According to NBC Sports PR, Sunday’s Orioles-Braves game on Peacock averaged 1.69 million viewers.
That is the most-watched regular-season Sunday game since 2019.

The MLB has expanded the sport to different platforms such as Peacock and Apple TV.
Now games can be seen on more streaming services than ever before.
One of the reasons for the increased viewership could be the pitch clock.
Many baseball fans love the game but do not want to sit down for four hours to watch it play out.
The pitch clock has sped the games up and now most games are finishing around 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Adding the pitch clock was one of the best decisions that the MLB has made.
While some players do not like it, you can assume they will get used to it over time.
Keeping the fans engaged has been a hot topic of conversation over the years.
It appears that the MLB has finally found the right way to do that.
It would not be a surprise to see the ratings skyrocket across the league due to some of these rule changes.
