The New York Jets offseason has truly been one for the record books.
Not only did they seemingly solve their quarterback woes, but they’ve added several additional pieces in hopes of contending.
One of those pieces was Chuck Clark, a six-year NFL veteran, who has spent his entire career with the Baltimore Ravens.
Clark had a career year in 2022 and was looking to make a big impact on the Jets this year.
As Jets reporter Zach Rosenblatt has recently indicated, however, Clark has likely suffered a very serious injury to his knee.
It’s believed that Chuck Clark suffered a serious knee injury, per sources.
That helps explain why the #Jets signed Adrian Amos.
They weren’t in on Amos until recently (he visited Ravens on Mon, his 2nd visit) but the opportunity to now start for the Jets sold him.

While the Jets and Clark await his fate, the team wasted no time, signing Adrian Amos, formerly of the Green Bay Packers.
Amos is another friend and former teammate of Rodgers, continuing the former Packers connection in New York.
The severity of Clark’s injury remains to be seen, as public information hasn’t been released on that front.
If the Jets’ move to sign Amos is any indication, however, things likely aren’t great for Clark’s health at the moment.
Regardless of Clark’s health, the Jets’ strong defense gains another piece, continuing to build on the success they found last year.
In 2022, the Jets’ defense allowed just 19.1 points per game, the fourth-lowest amount in the league.
If that trend continues, and the offense clicks as many suspect, the Jets could put up a good fight this season.
This is an organization that’s been starved of a playoff berth for 12 consecutive seasons.
Have they done enough in the offseason to put all of the pieces together?
