Bears Defender Rips Packers Fans

You don’t have to be a diehard football fan to know a simple and ever-lasting premise: The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears don’t like each other.

That’s why DT Justin Jones may have gotten himself into some turbulent waters ahead of the season by taking some big shots at his lifelong divisional rivals.

When asked about facing the Packers sans Aaron Rodgers, the veteran defensive tackle didn’t mince his words:

“I wish he played one more year with Green Bay, honestly,” he said, via NFL.com. “We went up there, and we played a pretty good game, but they got away from us at the end, obviously, and they won. But their fans are really s—-y. So, yeah, I wanted to go back up there and I wanted to play them and I wanted to beat them. And I wanted him to be there so he could see it.”

Bears DT Justin Jones rips “obnoxious” Packers fans, aims to “take it over” in the post-Aaron Rodgers era: “It’s a good time to be a Bears fan”https://t.co/OPKcQvmyI5 pic.twitter.com/ku3MmKmscQ

Jones claimed that he would’ve loved to play against Rodgers one more time so he could beat him in front of his fans, which he had no kind words for.

In a follow-up question, Jones went into thorough detail as to why he hates “obnoxious” Packers fans so much, and he went at full steam again by stating that some of them don’t even know football.

Jones joined the Bears in 2022 after four years with the Los Angeles Chargers, but it seems like this hatred for the Cheeseheads goes a long way.

Notably, that’s a relatable feeling for most Bears fans, especially considering how much they’ve suffered since Rodgers took over.

Rodgers has a 24-5 record against the Bears, throwing for 64 touchdowns to 10 picks and a whopping 109.0 passer rating.

He infamously reminded Bears fans that he owned them, and it’s been four years since the Bears last beat the Packers.

Needless to say, having to face Jordan Love instead of Rodgers makes it quite appealing for the Bears, who’ll look to get their first win at Lambeau Field since 2015 this season.
