One could argue that there has never been more talent in the National Football League than nowadays.
Even though some might state that today’s rules favor the offense and the passing game — which they do — perhaps we’ve never had such a surplus of talent and athletes in this league.
Naturally, that makes us value some teams more than others, constantly overlooking the rest.
With that in mind, PFF made a list of their top-5 most overlooked teams ahead of the upcoming campaign.

First, they talked about the Pittsburgh Steelers.
They’re the worst-ranked team in their division, mostly because of the fact that they share it with the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals, but they could mess around and make some noise next season.
Then, they talk about the Green Bay Packers, a team not many people trust now that Jordan Love has taken over for Aaron Rodgers.
However, Rodgers posted the second-lowest PFF grade of his career (77.5) and they were still almost a playoff team, so they could surprise some people in 2023.
The New Orleans Saints also made the list, citing that they’re the oddsmakers’ favorite to win the NFC South, but that’s arguably the worst division in football.
Still, PFF believes they’re somewhat sleepers with Derek Carr taking the reins of the offense and Chris Olave ready to build off that impressive rookie season.
The Buffalo Bills were the following team, stating that they’re kind of overlooked because of the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals.
Even so, they still have an MVP candidate at the quarterback position and a legit superstar WR in Stefon Diggs.
Last but not least, PFF chose the Los Angeles Rams as an overlooked team, mostly because of how much of a question mark Matthew Stafford’s health and play will be.
They still have some stars on the team, including Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp, so one shouldn’t rush to count them out.
