The New England Patriots could end up as the victor of the DeAndre Hopkins sweepstakes.
Hopkins has recently had meetings with the Tennessee Titans but is also slated to meet with the Patriots.
As Dan Orlovsky has recently indicated on an episode of Get Up, the Patriots shouldn’t “let him leave the building.”
.@danorlovsky7 says the Patriots CANNOT let DeAndre Hopkins out of the building:

The reasoning, Orlovsky highlighted, “You are not a playoff team without him.”
After Tom Brady left the team, the Patriots took a step back in a few areas.
The quarterback position is still getting established, and the receiver room hasn’t been the same since the early days of Julian Edelman and Randy Moss.
This has caused the team to miss the playoffs in two of the past three seasons, an anomaly for this storied organization.
Adding Hopkins could go a long way for this team, which is in search of a brand new identity.
Even though Hopkins is approaching the end of his NFL career, his 2022 campaign indicates that he still has plenty of gas left in the tank.
Last year, in just nine games, Hopkins had 64 receptions, 717 yards, and three touchdowns.
If recent reporting is any indication, teams aren’t necessarily concerned with Hopkins’ play, but the matter of his contract.
If the Patriots can get the financials worked out, they just might be able to land Hopkins.
The next several days should be very telling, as Orlovsky seems to believe.
If he had things his way, the Patriots would do everything humanly possible to ensure that Hopkins joins their team.
