During the 2022-23 NBA regular season, the Milwaukee Bucks were once again the team to beat in the Eastern Conference, with superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo having another MVP-caliber year and the team firing on all cylinders.
Unfortunately for Milwaukee, all that changed once the NBA playoffs rolled around, with the underdog Miami Heat ready to pull off the upset in the first round after punching their ticket to the postseason through the Play-in Tournament.
Antetokounmpo suffered a back injury against the Heat, and the team never recovered as Jimmy Butler and company went on to make easy work of the top-seeded Bucks in five games.
Heading into the NBA offseason, the Bucks need to make some changes and bolster their roster to prepare for next season, and it seems as though they could be a suitor for sharpshooter Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

With the Bucks getting embarrassed in the first round of the playoffs and Antetokoumpo taking a backseat to Nikola Jokic during the postseason, Milwaukee will be more motivated than ever to bounce back and make a statement next season.
Bringing in Beal would be a step in the right direction for the Bucks, but the real question will be what the team must give up to acquire him ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
If the asking price is reasonable and Milwaukee doesn’t have to gut their team to trade for Beal, the Bucks could be much improved next season with a new scorer to play alongside the two-time NBA MVP.
