Stefon Diggs, the star wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills, created a minor stir on Tuesday when he didn’t show up for practice during the team’s mandatory minicamp.

It caused some speculation that perhaps there was a rift between him and quarterback Josh Allen.

But on Wednesday, Diggs was back at work with his teammates, and a video posted on Twitter by beat reporter Sal Capaccio showed him helping to lead the Bills during a team huddle along with Allen.

Diggs has been about as productive as any wideout over the last three years, as he has posted over 1,200 yards and made the Pro Bowl in each of those seasons.

Those three seasons have coincided with Allen’s rise from a young upstart to one of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks.

During that span, Buffalo has been one of the frontrunners to contend for the Super Bowl championship, but each winter, they have gone home empty-handed, as they have failed to reach the big game and have gotten to just one AFC Championship Game during that span.

As a franchise, all the Bills have ever known is heartbreak.

It’s the same franchise that had one of the league’s best offenses in the early 1990s but lost in four straight Super Bowls.

It takes a lot of mental energy to break such a jinx, and it will require Diggs to be all in and fully united with his teammates, especially Allen.

Luckily, the Bills have the overall talent to finally take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy next February.
