Per TMZ’s report, Lewis III was a prominent RB prospect at Lake Mary Prep high school in Florida, piling up 1,898 rushing yards, 676 receiving yards, 20 rushing touchdowns, and four receiving touchdowns in his senior season.

He later committed to play for the Miami Hurricanes, later taking his talents to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and Virginia Union Panthers.

He later played for the Wyoming Mustangs of the Champions Indoor Football League, and was reportedly also pursuing a career in the music industry before his tragic passing.

Notably, his younger brother Rahsaan was the one to break the news on social media on Thursday afternoon.

Needless to say, it’s time to respect Lewis’ privacy and wish him the strength to cope with this terrible moment.

Lewis will most definitely have Ravens nation rooting for him and sending him love and keeping him in their prayers through his difficult time, the same way they did with him throughout his legendary career on the football field.
