The Baltimore Ravens have had their fair share of offseason drama with Lamar Jackson, but it seems like they might not be done dealing with disgruntled players looking for a pay raise.

Star RB J.K. Dobbins was at the team’s facility during the mandatory minicamp, yet he refused to practice and didn’t confirm whether he was hurt or not.

There are rumors of him dealing with a soft-tissue injury, but all he claimed was that he’s going to be ready for training camp.

Moreover, the explosive RB opened up on his frustration over a new contract, although he claimed to be “blessed” for being able to deal with the business side of football as well.

WJZ in Baltimore had the story.

“It’s part of the dream and it’s something that I’m blessed with, to deal with the business side of that.” @MarkWJZ sat down w/ @Jkdobbins22 in an exclusive interview to talk about dealing w/ the business side of football and his future in Baltimore #Ravens #RavensFlock @wjz pic.twitter.com/uEJ7SJJVob

Dobbins has reaffirmed that he wants to play for the Ravens for the remainder of his career, citing his love for the city, the fans, his teammates, and the organization as the main reasons behind that.

He’s one of the most explosive playmakers out of the backfield in the game, averaging a whopping 5.9 yards per rush since 2020.

Nonetheless, he’s also missed more games (27) than he’s played since entering the league, constantly dealing with ailments and injuries — both major and minor — which obviously hurt his case.

Dobbins is set to make just $1.39 million next season, which is obviously far less than he’s earned when he’s been on the field, but his team has also found ways to win without him because he’s seldom available.

This situation isn’t likely to be solved any time soon, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see him holding out.
