Colin Cowherd Makes A Bold Prediction About The Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers seem to be in playoff contention every season.

One reason for that is they have an elite head coach.

Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season and that means his teams will be in contention all year long.

Also, the Steelers have a strong defense each season.

They have perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate T.J. Watt and strong players around him.

The AFC is easily the stronger of the two conferences and making the playoffs will be no easy task.

Yet Colin Cowherd thinks the Steelers can do it.

He is predicting the Steelers will be a playoff team in 2023.

Cowherd mentioned how the Steelers win when Watt is on the field.

Last season they were 8-2 in games Watt played.

Also, in a league full of injuries the Steelers have a core that can stay on the field.

Other than Watt, most of the Steelers’ top players have no injury history.

Despite having to play in a division with Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and Deshaun Watson, the Steelers should be competitive.

Pittsburgh had success with rookie Kenny Pickett under center.

He should have a much better season in 2023 now that he gets a full offseason under his belt.

It also helps that the Steelers have a weak schedule next season.

According to Sharp Football Analysis, the Steelers have the eighth-easiest strength of schedule this season.

You will have to win 10-11 games to be a playoff team in the AFC.

The Steelers have a path to get there.
