Houston Texans legend J.J. Watt could stay close to the game he loves, just not in full pads and without putting on that insane workout regime and diet he used to have.
The recently-retired edge rusher has no shortage of options for the next step in his career.
With the upcoming NFL season just around the corner, multiple networks have reached out to him to work as an analyst, according to a report by Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.

The report also cites that CBS is currently leading the race for his services, adding that Watt would only accept a part-time role at first.
The NFL Network and NBC have also reportedly reached out to the former All-Pro defender.
Should he join CBS, he’d join their current group of on-air talent rather than replace someone else, which allows him to have more freedom.
Watt had initially stated that he wasn’t interested in pursuing a career as an analyst.
However, he recently admitted that he loves the game so much and he wants to continue being involved with it in any capacity.
He recently embarked on a somewhat different endeavor, becoming a minority owner of the Burnley Football Club in England, and even hinted at the possibility of taking a page out of the Kelce brothers’ book to start a podcast with his brother, T.J.
