Russell Wilson’s 2022 season with the Denver Broncos yielded a different result than many were expecting.
Several factors played into it, but ultimately, the Broncos finished the year with a 5-12 record.
The organization has spent the offseason making significant personnel changes, adding a new head coach and OC, among others.
Joe Lombardi, the team’s new OC, recently commented on what it’s like to work with Wilson.
According to Joe Heath of the Broncos Wire, Lombardi said, “He shows up every day ready to work.”
“He’s really fun to work with,” Broncos OC Joe Lombardi said of QB Russell Wilson. “He shows up every day ready to work.” https://t.co/iGYOk2h8zn

During the 2022 campaign, there were many rumors about Wilson, and more particularly, his team.
Wilson reportedly had an entire team working for him, which included personal trainers, nutritionists, life coaches, etc.
When Sean Payton took over as head coach, one of his first actions was to make sure that Wilson’s team was no longer allowed in the building.
Wilson is also said to be in fantastic shape, and ready to have a significantly improved session this year.
Lombardi has been involved as a coach for several years and knows what it takes to put together a coherent offense.
While his comments about Wilson could just be proverbial “coach-speak,” Lombardi seems to believe that Wilson is in for a great season.
The Broncos had one of the league’s best defenses in 2022, but their offense continued to have shortcomings.
With many offensive tools and players at his disposal, Wilson should have everything he needs to have an improved year.
However, they’ll still have to contend with a difficult division, as the AFC West is one of the league’s toughest.
