The Texas Rangers suffered a tough loss on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Catcher Jonah Heim had a call go against him after he tagged Elvis Andrus out at home plate in the bottom of the eighth.
The White Sox challenged the call, and it was determined that Heim had blocked the plate with his foot.
However, Heim got the last laugh on Wednesday.
In the top of the fifth, the young catcher hit a three-run homer off of White Sox reliever Jimmy Lambert.
As Heim was rounding the bases, he turned to the umpires and performed the challenge motion that managers make when they wish to challenge a call.
Last night, Jonah Heim got called for a catcher’s violation.
Tonight, he hit a home run and did the challenge motion during his home run trot.

Heim certainly got his sweet revenge on Wednesday.
The call that went against him was quite controversial and it ultimately led to manager Bruce Bochy being ejected and the White Sox scoring the go-ahead run.
This time, however, Heim got the last laugh when he hit an absolute rocket out to right field and proceeded to perform the challenge motion.
The Rangers held on to win by a final score of 6-3 over the White Sox.
Ultimately, Heim’s home run is what made the difference in the game.
The Rangers led 3-1 before Heim’s three-run shot.
But the Rangers weren’t the only ones who won on Wednesday.
Heim also earned himself his own personal win by going yard and mocking the umpires for their poor call the previous night in the process.
Texas improved to 46-28 on the season.
