The Charlotte Hornets have a long history of failure in the NBA Draft.
So, the fans simply cannot stand another bust or failed pick at this point.
That’s why all eyes were set on whether they would go with Scoot Henderson or Brandon Miller with the No. 2 pick.
And even though most people were quite satisfied to see that they went with the Alabama forward, it seems like the team mascot wasn’t feeling it at all.

A now-viral video shows the mascot in disbelief and disappointed during the team’s NBA Draft watch party at Spectrum Center.
The mascot will now have some explaining to do or look for ways to squash the beef with their new potential franchise star.
Truth be told, Miller was the logical pick for the Hornets right now.
As good as Henderson is and could turn out to be, you don’t want to do anything to disrupt your current franchise player, LaMelo Ball, and it made no sense to have two point guards with no range in the same backcourt.
Miller is an elite shooter from all three levels, and he’s got the size, length, and instincts to also become a solid defender.
He’s still growing into his frame and will only be an even more efficient scorer and finisher once he bulks up a little, and he’s a seamless complement next to LaMelo.
As for the Hornets mascot, it seems like he may want to start updating his profile on LinkedIn, as his bosses aren’t going to like that video.
