The Milwaukee Brewers have begun to play better baseball in recent weeks, having won six of their last 10 games.
The Brewers have moved to within a half-game of the Cincinnati Reds in the NL Central and are just three back in the Wild Card race.
Much of their recent success has to do with the re-emergence of outfielder and slugger Christian Yelich.
Yelich has experienced some struggles in the past few seasons, but is hitting .270 this season with nine home runs, 34 RBI, and a .794 OPS.
In his last 17 games, Yelich is slashing .338/.419/.585 with 11 extra-base hits and 12 runs scored.
On Twitter, MLB Network posted Yelich’s stats from his past 17 games.

These are some very solid numbers from Yelich as of late.
The slugger and former MVP has been on a tear as of late and has helped get the Brewers back to within striking distance in the NL Central and in the NL Wild Card race.
But this season has been a big improvement over the past few years for the former MVP.
Last season, Yelich hit just .252 with 14 home runs and 57 RBI.
This year, the veteran slugger is reaching base at a .363 clip and slugging .431 with an OPS+ of 118.
Yelich has won a Gold Glove, two batting titles, and three Silver Slugger Awards while earning two All-Star nods in addition to his MVP season in 2018.
The 31-year-old appears to have returned to his old ways and is helping the Brewers pick up ground in the NL Central.
Milwaukee is 40-37 on the season.
